i was wondering what the law regarding driving my car (wich has been in an accident) to the repair shop. i have no fender, bumper or headlights and turn signals. if i make the hand gestures for turning could i make the 2 kilometer trip, or do i have to pay the 300.00 for a tow truck return trip.

From Traffic Services Branch:
Properly used hand signals are still legal in this situation. However, if the vehicle has been that severely damaged, it may be unsafe to operate. A two kilometre tow should not cost $300.
