Randy Wilson, Chair

Randy Wilson, former Town of Ajax Fire Chief, retired after a distinguished 33 year career, having started as a volunteer fire fighter. Randy also acted as the Durham Region Fire Coordinator, working with Fire, EMS and Police Services across the region.


Bill McLean, Vice Chair

Bill was born and raised in Ajax where he attended elementary and secondary school. In 1969 he joined the Toronto Police Force where he worked at various divisions in the downtown core. His police experience included almost 15 years in plainclothes and the Detective office where he was a child/sexual and domestic abuse investigator. The last 10 years of his service was spent as a Sergeant supervising at 53 Division. In 2000 Bill retired from the Toronto Police Service.


Stindar Lal, Board Member

Stindar Lal, Q.C., is a former deputy minister in six different ministries of the Ontario Government, including Environment, Consumer and Commercial Relations, Municipal Affairs, Citizenship, Management Board Secretariat, and the Solicitor General. As Deputy Solicitor General, he played a central role in the development and implementation of the Police Services Act and its associated Regulations.


Bobbie Drew, Board Member

Bobbie Drew, now in her second term as Regional Councillor and Deputy Mayor for the Township of Scugog, has been in the political arena since 1988. Serving as the Scugog Trustee on the Durham District School Board for 12 years, this mother of three and grandmother of seven has lived most of her life in Scugog Township. She retired from the School Board as Vice-Chair and launched her municipal political career in 2003 as a Ward Councillor.


Rose Rockbrune, Board Member

Rose Rockbrune is currently the Finance Manager for a Medical Device and Equipment company operating out of Markham, Ontario. The company, known as Johnson and Johnson Medical Companies (JJMC), is part of Johnson and Johnson which has just celebrated its 125th anniversary.


Kevin Ashe, Board Member

Kevin Ashe has been a resident of Pickering for over 48 years. Kevin's family has been involved in politics in Pickering for almost 50 years, with his late father, George, serving as the first Mayor of the then Town of Pickering, in 1973.
