  Drug Investigation in Beaverton Leads to Five Arrests

Five people are facing charges after more than $8,000 in drugs and three replica firearms were seized from a home in Beaverton.

On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, officers from North Division and the Tactical Support Unit (TAC) executed a search warrant at a home on Simcoe Street East. A quantity of marihuana, methadone, crack cocaine, cocaine and crystal meth was seized, along with three replica firearms.

David MORRISON, age 52 from the City of Kawartha Lakes, is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2 and Possession of a Controlled Substance x2.

Taralee BIGGAR, age 40 of Keswick, is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2; Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order.

Trisha COOK, age 27 of Oshawa, Thomas CLAYTON, age 44 of Beaverton, and Brad DENNIS, age 55 of Port Bolster, are all charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2 and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

COOK was held for a bail hearing while the others were released on a Promise to Appear/OIC Undertaking.
