  Racial Slur Scratched Into Car in Plaza Parking Lot

A racial slur was scratched into a car parked in an Oshawa plaza parking lot yesterday.

On Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 7:15 p.m., the black female victim and her son entered a grocery store at King Street East and Townline Road and spent 15 minutes inside. When they returned to their parked vehicle, a racial slur had been scratched into the passenger door of the car.

Investigators are looking to speak to anyone who was in the plaza parking lot between 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. yesterday who saw anyone suspicious. The vehicle was parked in front of Halenda's Meats.
