Sep 08, 2017 14:36 ET

We are asking the public to help us identify a male who exposed himself to a female high school student in Ajax this morning.

On Friday, September 8, 2017, at approximately 9 a.m., the 14-year-old female high school student was walking to school in the area of Dobson Drive and Bird Crescent. As she walked along a catwalk, a vehicle stopped beside her and asked her for directions. After a brief conversation, she realized that he was exposing himself. She ran from the area and reported it to school officials.

The suspect is described as a male, black, mid to late 20s, brown eyes with yellow tinges, scruffy beard, wearing a red baseball cap with a black lid. The vehicle is described as a black Honda, possibly a Civic.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Cst. Dimech from West Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2582.

Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
