  Police Investigating Stabbing in Oshawa

A 55-year-old male remains in hospital after being stabbed in Oshawa.

On Saturday, September 9, 2017, at approximately 12:15 a.m., members of Central East Division were called to the area of John Street West and Centre Street South in Oshawa for a stabbing call. Officers located a male party with serious injuries. The victim was taken to local hospital and later transferred to a Toronto area hospital by air ambulance.

Police continue to investigate the incident and have limited information at this time.
