  Suspect Sought after Convenience Store Robbed in Pickering

A male suspect is sought after a convenience store robbery in Pickering yesterday morning.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at approximately 9:50 a.m., members of West Division responded to a robbery at the Smart Food Fair Convenience on Pickering Parkway in Pickering. A male suspect, who had his face covered, indicated that he was armed and demanded cash. The suspect fled on foot with a quantity of cash.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as male, black, in his 20s. He had his face covered and was wearing a hat.

Anyone with information as to the identity of this suspect is asked to call the Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5371.
