  Oshawa Male Facing 16 Theft Related Charges

Police have arrested and charged an Oshawa male for stealing items from retail stores and then re-selling some of the items at pawn shops.

Between December 2016 and September 2017, the accused male stole several items from Canadian Tire stores in Whitby, Oshawa and Clarington, along with two Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Whitby. The stolen products included tools, computer equipment and hunting items. The male sold some of the stolen items at pawn shops in Oshawa.

He was eventually identified through surveillance photos and arrested.

Michael GRAY, age 42 of Conant Street in Oshawa, faces 16 theft related charges including Theft Under $5,000 and Property Obtained by Crime. He was released on an OIC Promise to Appear.
