  Police Looking for Suspect in Ajax Street-Level Robbery

A male suspect is wanted after a 20-year-old male was robbed in Ajax while trying to buy a used cellphone.

On Friday, September 22, 2017, at approximately 8:45 a.m., the victim was waiting at Rossland Road and Audley Road to purchase a cellphone through a seller he found on the LetGo app. The suspect arrived on foot. He robbed the victim of his wallet, which contained cash for the transaction, and fled on foot. The victim called police.

The suspect is described as male, black, approximately 6' 1" tall with full beard and moustache. His hair is worn with a short afro or dreads. He was wearing a black or blue t-shirt and a grey Roots sweatshirt.
