  Police Release Surveillance Video of a Hit and Run in Brooklin

Police are appealing to the public to identify a suspect vehicle in a pedestrian hit and run that occurred in Brooklin.

On Friday, September 22, 2017, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a 15-year-old male was walking westbound through a pedestrian crossing when he was struck by a vehicle that was turning left from Campbell Street to go north on Baldwin Street.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and exited the vehicle. After a few moments, he returned to the vehicle and drove off, northbound on Baldwin Street.

The victim received minor injuries during the incident.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark grey four-door sedan of an unknown make/model. The vehicle would have sustained damage to the front/right side and the cover of the passenger side mirror came off during the collision.

The suspect driver is described as male, white, approximately 19 to 24 years old with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark long sleeved shirt with a decal in the centre and light coloured shorts.
