  Armed Suspect Wanted after Pharmacy Robbery in Oshawa

An armed suspect is wanted following a robbery at a pharmacy in Oshawa yesterday afternoon.

On Thursday, October 5, 2017, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers from Central East Division were called to the area of King Street West and Stevenson Road North regarding a robbery. A male suspect, armed with a knife, entered the Island Plaza Pharmacy and made a demand for prescription drugs. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot with a quantity of drugs.

The 29-year-old male victim didn't suffer any physical injuries during the robbery.

The suspect is described as; male, white, 30-35 years of age, 6' feet tall, 150-160 lbs., slim build, brown facial hair, wearing a blue jacket covering his face, black pants, grey long sleeve shirt, black gloves and sunglasses.
