  Firearm Seized During a Road Rage Incident

Two males face numerous charges following a road-rage incident in Oshawa Sunday night.

On Sunday, October 8, 2017, at approximately 11:15 p.m., members of Central East Division were dispatched to a road-rage incident on Park Road North and King Street West in Oshawa. The 23-year-old female victim was driving when she was confronted by the suspects in a silver Honda Accord. The suspects pointed a firearm at her following a road-rage incident. Police searched the area and spotted the suspect vehicle nearby. Police attempted to stop the vehicle and they refused to stop. The suspect vehicle crashed into a light standard at Simcoe Street and Rossland Road. The light standard was knocked down and the suspects were taken out of the vehicle and arrested.

Further investigation recovered a 9 mm Luger Norinco handgun, marihuana and drug paraphernalia.

Nathan WALLIS, age 23 of Eglinton Avenue in Toronto, has been charged with: Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Marijuana); Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and 14 Firearms related offences.

Trevor CRUICKSHANK, age 25 of Westmount Street in Oshawa, has been charged with: Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Marijuana); Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Flight from Police and 12 Firearms related offences.

They were both held for a bail hearing.
