  Suspect Wanted after Pharmacy Robbery in Ajax

Police are looking to identify a suspect after a pharmacy robbery in Ajax Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of West Division attended the Kingston Pharmacy on Kingston Road near Harwood Road in Ajax for an armed robbery. The suspect armed with a knife entered the premise and made a demand for prescription drugs. The clerk handed over drugs and the suspect fled on foot.

The clerk didn't suffer any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as male, black, 5'8" tall, thin and clean shaven. He was seen wearing a dark blue jacket and armed with a knife.

Any member of the public who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information pertaining to this robbery is asked to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 905-579-1520 ext. 5360.

Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
