  Police Investigating a Suspicious Fire in Clarington

Police are investigating after a fire occurred in a tent trailer in Clarington earlier this week.

On Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at approximately 7:09 p.m., police responded to an assist fire department call on Elgin Street near Fourth Street. A fire had occurred in a tent trailer. No one was inside the trailer at the time.

Investigators are trying to determine if the fire was caused by mischief. Police are appealing to the public for any information in regards to this incident.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to D/Cst. Stuart of the East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1634.
