  Suspects Wanted after Carjacking in Ajax

Two suspects wanted after a carjacking incident in Ajax early this morning.

On Monday, October 23, 2017, at approximately 1:15 a.m., members from West Division responded to a theft of motor vehicle call in the area of Delaney Drive and Elizabeth Street in Ajax. The victim was seated in his vehicle on a residential street when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects while armed with a hammer, dragged the victim out of his car while the second suspect gained entry through the passenger side. The suspects managed to get into his four-door white Kia Optima and drove off northbound on Elizabeth Street. The 25-year-old victim sustained minor injuries.

Officers conducted a search of the area, with negative results.

The suspects are described as: males, in their 20s, one with a black-hooded sweater and the other a grey-hooded sweater.
