  Suspect Wanted in Sexual Assault Investigation in Whitby

Police are looking to identify a male who sexually assaulted a female at a bar in Whitby last month.

On Saturday, September 30, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m., members of Central West Division responded to a sexual assault call at the Tap and Tankard bar on Brock Street South in Whitby. Officers located a 21-year-old victim whom advised that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown male. Officers checked the area with negative results.

The suspect is described as male, white, in his 20s, approximately 5'7" tall, short hair, stocky build, wearing a long sleeved shirt with black band on both arms.
