  Suspect Wanted after Robbery in Ajax

A suspect robbed a victim of his phone and wallet in Ajax Monday night.

On Monday, October 23, 2017, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members from West Division responded to a robbery call in the area of Audley Road and Rossland Road East in Ajax. The victim was seated in his vehicle on a residential street when he was approached by an unknown suspect. The suspect made a demand for the victim's property while armed with what appeared to be a handgun in his hand. The 19-year-old victim complied and the suspect fled on foot.

The victim didn't sustain any physical injuries.

Officers conducted a search of the area, with negative results.

The suspect is described as: male, black, 5'11" tall, wearing a grey-hooded sweater and a black mask.
