Robbery investigators have arrested a 30-year-old male in connection to a violent bank robbery in Ajax and an attempt robbery in Mississauga
On Monday, October 16, 2017, at approximately 7:10 a.m., the suspect attempted to gain entry to a TD Canada Trust bank on Tenth Line in Mississauga. The suspect didn't manage to make entry and fled the scene.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2017 members of the DRPS Major Crimes - Robbery Unit With the assistance of the DRPS Tactical Support Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Trumpet Valley in Brampton and arrested the suspect. The male was taken into custody and is facing numerous charges. Investigators also recovered a large quantity of money from the residence.
Jabourou ABDOULKADER, age 30, of Trumpet Valley Boulevard in Brampton, is charged with: Robbery; Armed Robbery; Wear Disguise with Intent x2; Forcible Confinement and Weapons Dangerous. He was held for a bail hearing.
