  Man Forced to Withdraw Money from an ATM in Ajax

A 67-year-old male was forced to drive to an ATM and withdraw money for two suspects.

On Friday, November 3, 2017, at approximately 5:20 p.m., the victim was leaving his parked car on Barnham Street when two masked males approached him and forced him back in the vehicle. The suspects made him drive to a nearby drive-thru ATM and withdraw cash. The victim was then told to exit the vehicle. The suspects drove off in the victim´┐Żs car.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident. Officers located the vehicle abandoned on Rossland Road east of Salem Road.

Both suspects are described as male, black with coverings over their faces.

Police would like to make the public aware that there have been four similar incidents in the past three weeks in the Ajax/Pickering area. At this time, it is not known if the incidents are connected.
