  Shots Fired in Whitby

Investigators are looking for witnesses after several shots were fired in Whitby early this morning.

On Thursday, November 9, 2017, at approximately 12:35 a.m., police responded to a call for shots fired on Vanessa Place, which is in the Thickson Road South and Nichol Avenue area of Whitby. Witnesses stated that two male suspects were on foot when they fired shots at a residence then fled the scene. Several bullets struck a vehicle that was sitting in the driveway of the residence.

No injuries have been reported.

A K-9 team was brought to the area and tracked with negative results.

Both suspects are described as male and wearing dark coloured clothing.

Police are appealing for witnesses or any information that could help further the investigation.
