  Orono Resident Charged with Driving Offences

A 51-year-old male was arrested from criminal driving offences in Orono.

After numerous driving complaints from Orono residents regarding a vehicle driving erratically, members of East Division commenced an investigation. On two separate occasions between October and November, the suspect was driving in his pick-up truck in a reckless manner causing excessive noise and causing his tires to spin causing rubber tire tracks on the roadway. The suspect would often do this while pedestrians would be in close proximity. The driver was later identified and arrested for the offences.

Bradley STAPLETON, age 51 of Station Street in Orono is charged with; Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle x2 and Mischief Endangering Life. He was held for a bail hearing.
