  Poppy Donation Thief Arrested in Oshawa

A 53-year-old male is facing charges after a poppy donation box was stolen in Oshawa.

On Saturday, November 11, 2017, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a poppy donation box was stolen from the front counter of the YMCA on Mary Street in Oshawa. Police observed an individual matching the description of the suspect on November 13, 2017, in Oshawa and made the arrest.

Dennis KLAWITTER, age 53 of Simcoe Street North in Oshawa, is charged with Theft Under $5,000; Breach of Probation x2; Possession of a Schedule I Substance (marihuana); and Possession of a Schedule I Substance (cocaine). He was released with a Promise to Appear/Undertaking.
