  Police Investigating Two Suspicious Fires in Oshawa

Police are looking for suspects after two fires were deliberately set in Oshawa early Sunday morning.

On Sunday November 12, 2017, just before 4 a.m., officers, along with Oshawa Fire, were called to a blaze in the backyard of a residence on Harcourt Drive in Oshawa. A shed and a gazebo were on fire and fire officials were able to contain it. While on scene, officers received information that a similar incident had just taken place across the tracks outside a residence on Grandview Avenue.

A shed was set on fire in the backyard of a home, and a second residence was damaged as a result. Two male suspects were seen leaving the Grandview Street fire. No one was hurt in either incident, but there was extensive damage as a result of both fires.

Suspect #1 is described as: male black, wearing a black hooded shirt, blue jeans and a scarf covering his face.

Suspect #2 is described as: male white or Latino, wearing a blue hooded shirt and carrying a green back pack.
