  Male Faces Gun Charges in Oshawa

A 26-year-old Pickering male faces numerous firearm's related charges after an investigation at an Oshawa hotel.

On Saturday, November 11, 2017, at approximately 2:50 a.m., officers were investigating an armed robbery at a hotel on Bloor Street West in Oshawa. Police investigated a suspect who was in possession of a loaded Ruger handgun. The male was arrested without incident. Further investigation connected the suspect to a female escort working at this location.

Anthony DALEY-WILLIAMS age 26 of Spruce Hill Road in Pickering is charged with: Careless Storage of a Firearm; Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm; Possession of a Firearm Knowing it's Possession is Unauthorized; Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition; Possession of a Firearm Knowing the Serial Number has been Tampered; Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order x3; Advertising Sexual Service and Assault. He was held for a bail hearing.
