  Shots Fired in Whitby

Investigators are looking for witnesses after several shots were fired at a restaurant in Whitby early Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at approximately 12:55 a.m., police responded to Chucks Roadhouse restaurant on Taunton Road in Whitby for shots fired. Officers spoke with witnesses who advised that an altercation took place outside the establishment between several parties. During the altercation the suspect discharged a firearm and fled the scene in a vehicle. No one was hit by the bullets.

Police are looking to identify the suspect who is described as: male, black, 5'8" tall, with long dark hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing grey pants and a white T-shirt.
