  Teen Approached by Suspicious Person on Path in Clarington

Police are investigating after a 13-year-old female was approached by a suspicious person while walking to school last week.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at approximately 8:55 a.m., the victim was walking southbound on a path behind Harold Longworth Public School when she was approached by a masked male. He grabbed her shoulder and attempted to stop her from passing. She was able to pull free and ran along the path to school.

Police are looking to identify the suspicious male. He is described as male, black, approximately 5' 7" to 5' 10" tall with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a black balaclava over his face, dark pants and a black windbreaker-style jacket.
