  UPDATE - Missing Female from Bowmanville

The 21-year-old female missing from Bowmanville has been located, safe and sound.

The DRPS would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance with this investigation.

Missing Female from Bowmanville

Police are looking for a missing 21-year-old female from Bowmanville.

Heather THOMSON, was last in contact with her family on November 27, 2017. It is believed that she was living in downtown Toronto up until December 1, 2017. It is out of character for her not to be in contact with her family.

THOMSON is described as: female, white, 5' 7" tall, 200 pounds, brown eyes and shoulder length dark hair.

Anyone with any information about the missing female is asked to call their local police service, in Durham Region please call D/Cst. Whelan at Central East Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1613.

Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
