  Three Arrested After a Stabbing Incident

Three men are facing charges after a victim was stabbed outside of a bar in Oshawa.

On Saturday, December 23, 2017, at approximately 2:31 a.m., police were called to Ritson Road North and Taunton Road East in Oshawa after a 22-year-old male from Oshawa was stabbed with a knife outside of the Player's Bench bar. Three suspects were seen fleeing in a vehicle. The victim received serious wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Responding officers searched the area and found the suspect vehicle travelling southbound in the area. When the officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, the suspect vehicle jumped the median to changed directions and entered a plaza parking lot. Officers drove into the parking lot from another entrance and were hit head-on by the suspect vehicle. Two of the three suspects were in the vehicle and were placed under arrest. The third suspect was located at a nearby residence at short time later. Both vehicles received minor damage in the collision.

Niloshan SELVENTHIRARAJAH, age 23 from Brampton, is charged with: Fail to Stop for Police; Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle x2; Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Fail to Provide Breath Sample; Fail to Comply with Recognizance x2; Assault and Assault with a Weapon.

A 17-year-old from Oshawa is charged with: Aggravated Assault; Assault with a Weapon; Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Fail to Comply with Recognizance x2.

Danson ROBINSON, age 18 from Toronto, is charged with: Possession of Cannabis.
