  Female Arrested After Stabbing in Clarington

A 56-year-old female has been charged after a 52-year-old male was stabbed during an altercation in Clarington.

On Sunday, January 14, 2018, at approximately 11:00 a.m., members of East Division responded to a residence in the area of Liberty Street and Ontario Street in Clarington for reports of a stabbing. Officers located a male with serious injuries after he was stabbed by his landlord. The victim made his way to a neighbour�s home and contacted 911. The male was taken to a local hospital and was treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. The female suspect was arrested at her residence.

A 56-year-old female from Clarington was charged with; Assault Cause Bodily Harm and Assault with a Weapon x2. She was held for a bail hearing. We are withholding the name of the accused to protect the identity of the victim.
