  UPDATE - Second Suspect Arrested after Bank Robbery in Whitby

Investigators have arrested the second suspect wanted for a bank robbery last week in Whitby.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, robbery investigators arrested the suspect. Investigators also advised that the substance sprayed in the bank during the robbery was consistent with being either pepper spray or bear spray.

Nickeem SPARKES, age 20 of Bristol Road in Mississauga is charged with: Robbery with a Weapon; Disguise with Intent; Administer Noxious Thing and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace. He was held for a bail hearing.
