Police continue to look for James PEARSON and are releasing more images of the missing 89-year-old.
PEARSON could possibly be wearing the coat and hat shown in the images attached. Images can also be viewed at www.drps.ca under Newsroom. The surveillance images were taken in a Whitby convenience store in the day before he went missing.
Investigators believe that PEARSON is lost and having trouble making his way back home. It is possible he is in the Whitby area but he also could have boarded a GO Train and headed to Toronto. PEARSON has been known to visit the downtown area near the Eaton Centre.
PEARSON is described as male, white, with grey hair and 5' 5" tall and approximately 110 lbs. He was last seen wearing tinted glasses, khaki pants, a red, white and blue New York Giants toque, a heavy dark-coloured, down-filled coat that goes to his knees and boots. He could possibly also be wearing white running shoes and grey track pants.
Anyone with any information about the missing male is asked to call Central West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520, ext. 1825.
Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
