  Suspect(s) Wanted after Theft of Construction Equipment in Blackstock

Police are appealing to the public for information that would identify suspect(s) in a theft investigation of heavy equipment in Blackstock.

Between Sunday, January 14, 2018, and Monday, January 15, 2018, unknown suspect(s) entered a farm on Concession Road 9 in Blackstock and stole a yellow Volvo mini excavator and an orange Thomas skid steer, both valued at more than $25,000.

There is no suspect description of the suspect(s) at this time.

An image of the stolen equipment is attached or can be viewed at www.drps.ca.

Investigators are seeking public assistance in locating the stolen equipment and anyone with information is asked to contact D/Cst. Bycok of the East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1605.

Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
