  Male Stabbed in Ajax

A 35-year-old man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in Ajax.

On Friday, January 19 2018, police were called to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 35-year-old male from Ajax, stated he was stabbed by an unknown male while leaving the Red Snapper restaurant on Station Street in Ajax around 6:15 p.m. As the victim was walking out the door, the suspect held the door open then began to stab him. The victim was able to flee to his vehicle in the parking lot and attended a local hospital for treatment. The suspect was seen fleeing on foot behind the restaurant.

The suspect is described as male, black, approximately 35-years-old, 5' 8" tall with a slim build and wearing a black stripped jacket and possibly a dark hat.
