  Single Snowmobile Collision in Port Perry

A 45-year-old Whitby female was seriously injured after a single snowmobile collision in Port Perry.

On Sunday, February 4, 2018 at approximately 7:15 p.m., members from North Division responded to reports of a collision involving a snowmobile in the area of Reach Street and Old Simcoe Street in Port Perry. The snowmobile was travelling southbound on Old Simcoe Street when the driver lost control as she crossed Reach Street. The female driver was ejected and suffered serious injuries. She was transported to a local hospital and then taken to a Toronto area trauma center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Members of North Division attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The area of the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
