  SIU Called In After Collision in Oshawa

The SIU has been called in to investigate after a single vehicle collision in Oshawa.

On Wednesday February 7, 2018, at approximately 3:15 a.m., DRPS officers were following a vehicle of interest when it collided with a fence outside a home near Mary and Beatrice Streets. Multiple occupants fled on foot and two were located and arrested following a K-9 track. One suspect received non-life threatening serious injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital. No one in the home was injured.

As is the protocol, the SIU was called and they have invoked their mandate. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the SIU at 1-800-787-8529.
