  Male Stabbed in Oshawa

A 24-year-old male suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in Oshawa.

On Sunday, February 11, 2018, at approximately 1:10 a.m., members from Central East Division were called to a stabbing at an apartment building on King Street and Celina Street in Oshawa. The victim, a 24-year-old male from Oshawa was located lying on the sidewalk by a citizen in the area. The victim was taken to a local hospital and later transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries.

It is believed that an altercation may have ensued prior to the stabbing. The investigation continues and there is no suspect information at this time.
