  UPDATE - SIU Called In After Collision in Oshawa

Two people are facing 30 charges after a loaded handgun and more than $20,000 in drugs was seized from a vehicle.

On Wednesday February 7, 2018, officers responded to a call for a possible impaired driver in the area of Taunton Road and Simcoe Street North in Oshawa. The vehicle left the area and it later collided with a fence outside a home near Mary and Beatrice Streets. Multiple occupants fled on foot and two were located and arrested following a K-9 track.

A search of the vehicle lead to the seizure of cocaine and marihuana with a street value of more than $20,000. A loaded handgun was also seized.

Adrian GREEN, age 29 from Whitby, and Jerry MENSAH, age 23 from Toronto, are facing 30 combined charges, including drug possession and firearm charges.
