  Suspect Wanted after Indecent Act in Oshawa

Police are releasing a composite sketch of a male suspect who committed an indecent act in Oshawa.

On Sunday, February 18, 2018 at approximately 9:30 a.m., a 21-year-old female was walking in the area of Park Road South and Malaga Road in Oshawa when she was approached by a suspicious male in a vehicle. The suspect attempted several times to convince the victim to get into his vehicle. The suspect offered money for her to get into the car. The female continued to walk away. While sitting in the vehicle, the suspect committed an indecent act while trying to engage in conversation with the female. The victim ran into her residence and contacted police.

The suspect is described as: male, white, with a light complexion, medium build, early 20�s, full beard, long brown hair in a bun.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older 4-door Toyota sedan.

Anyone with new information about this incident is asked to call D/Cst. J. Powell of Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5200.

Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
