  Female Arrested After Stabbing in Oshawa

An 18-year-old female has been charged after a 23-year-old male was stabbed during an altercation in Oshawa.

On Thursday November 9, 2017, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a male and female arranged to meet at Cordova Park in Oshawa. They began arguing and the male was stabbed several times. The female suspect left the area and the male was taken to hospital for serious injuries. He was later transported to a Toronto trauma centre. The suspect was arrested and charged at a nearby residence.

Bryanna COSTELLO, age 18 of Whiting Avenue in Oshawa, is charged with: Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon; Carry a Concealed Weapon and Weapons Dangerous for Committing an Offence. She was held for a bail hearing.
