  Male Arrested After Fleeing Police in Stolen Vehicle

A 47-year-old male faces numerous charges after fleeing from police in a stolen vehicle last night in Oshawa.

On Thursday, November 9, 2017, at approximately 11:20 p.m., a pizza delivery driver reported his Honda Civic was just stolen in the area of Simcoe and Quebec Streets. A short time later, officers located the vehicle in Oshawa entering the westbound Highway 401. Central East Division Target Team officers followed the vehicle to Markham Road, where it exited the highway. Other units attended to assist and the vehicle was stopped at Markham Road and Sheppard Avenue. The driver was arrested and charged.

Granville GRAHAM, age 47, of Toronto, is charged with: Theft of Motor Vehicle; Fail to Comply with OIC Undertaking x2 and Drive Motor Vehicle No Licence. He was held for a bail hearing.
