  One Suspect Arrested After a Double Stabbing in Oshawa

A 32-year-old male was arrested after he allegedly stabbed two males during a dispute in Oshawa.

On Thursday, August 9, 2018, at approximately 12:30 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a stabbing in the area of Adelaide Avenue West and Arena Street in Oshawa. The first victim, a 33-year-old male, was located on Adelaide Avenue with critical injuries. The second victim, a 50-year-old male, was located nearby with critical injuries. The 50-year old male was transported to a Toronto-area hospital and the 33-year-old male was taken to a local hospital. Both are in stable condition.

The suspect was located nearby and taken into custody. It is believed all three males are known to each other.

Kevin DICKS, age 32 of Gliddon Avenue in Oshawa was charged with: Aggravated Assault x2 and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. He was held for a bail hearing.
