  Search Warrants Yield Three Firearms, Cash and Drugs

Members of the Drug Enforcement Unit executed search warrants in Whitby and Toronto and seized three handguns, drugs and cash early this morning.

In early July, 2018, officers commenced a cocaine trafficking investigation. As a result of the investigation, CDSA search warrants were executed at three different residences early this morning on Misthollow Square in Scarborough, Hickory Street North in Whitby and Midland Avenue in Toronto. Seven people were arrested in relation to this investigation.

Quantities of marihuana and cocaine with a total street value of approximately $14,000 were seized as well as $15,000 in Canadian currency. A 9mm handgun, a .22 caliber handgun and a .380 caliber handgun along with ammunition were also seized.

Jahmar NEDRICK, age 26 of White Oaks Court in Whitby is charged with: Trafficking a Schedule I Substance x4; Proceeds of Crime x3; Possession of a Scheduled II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and 14 gun-related charges.

Owen DEICSICS
, age 22 of Misthollow Square in Scarborough is charged with: Possession of a Scheduled II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and 14 gun-related charges.

Mark DEICSICS
, age 28 of Misthollow Square in Scarborough is charged with: Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking; Possession of a Scheduled II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and 14 gun-related charges.

Jonathan CHRONOPOLOUS
, age 36 and Shawn DORSEY, age 37 both of Hickory Street North in Whitby are both charged with Trafficking a Schedule I Substance and Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Lynda CHRONOPOULOS
, age 56 of Hickory Street North in Whitby and Jason HELWIG, age 26 of Gilder Drive in Scarborough are both charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
