Between June 13th, 2003 and April 23rd, 2005 Lavida COLEMAN, 36-years-old, also known as Ann Marie Wilks and Ann Smith, travelLed throughout Ontario cashing altered cheques at various financial institutions.
COLEMAN was arrested in Durham Region in 2005 and was subsequently released on bail. Shortly after her release, she fled the jurisdiction and has not been seen since. Lavida COLEMAN has ties to the Windsor and Toronto areas but has also been spotted in Saskatchewan using her alias Ann Maria Wilks.
COLEMAN is currently wanted by Durham Regional Police for Fraud Under $5,000 x7, Breach of Recognizance, Breach of Officer-In-Charge Undertaking, Breach of Probation and Fail To Appear – Court. COLEMAN also has outstanding warrants with Toronto Police for Fraud Over $5,000 x2, Utter Forged Document x7 and Fail To Appear – Court and Waterloo Regional Police for False Pretenses x20 and Fail To Appear - Court.
