DRP Detective Recognized Nationally In The Area Of Threat Assessment

DRPS Detective Tony Whetham was recently acknowledged as a Canadian leader in violence threat risk assessment. He was presented with the honour at the 2nd Annual National Violence Risk Threat Assessment Conference.

Members of the Durham Catholic School Board spoke about the important work that is being done in the area of violence threat risk assessment in Durham Region. They were very appreciative of Det. Whetham's leadership in this area and the incredible support he has been to the board. The work being done around threat assessment and Det. Whetham's commitment is making a huge difference in the lives of children and youth in Durham Region.
