  Help Police Identify this Fraud Suspect

Durham Regional Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a male who used a credit card believed to be stolen from Ajax.

The suspect attended a computer store in Toronto and used a Visa card to purchase several thousand dollars worth of computer equipment. The male produced a fake Alberta driver’s licence during the transaction.

The suspect is a white, male, approximately 27-years-old with black hair and eyebrows. He was wearing a black puffy jacket and dark coloured pants at the time of the purchase.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. MCFAYDEN at 19 Division (Ajax/Pickering) Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) at 905-579-1520 ext 2528. Anonymous tips can be made to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
