  Suspects Sought in Pickering Robbery

Investigators are asking the public to help identify suspects wanted in connection with a robbery at Petro Canada.

On Wednesday, February 18th, 2009 at approximately 4:30 a.m., two armed suspects robbed the Petro Canada gas station on Bayle Street in Pickering. The suspects stole cash and cigarettes.

Suspect 1 is described as male, white, 5'8", wearing a jacket and white scarf. He was armed with a wrench.

Suspect 2 is described as male, white, 5'8", with a beard, wearing a green jacket. He was armed with a knife.

Anyone with information relating to this robbery can contact Det. Houston of the DRPS Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5360. Anonymous tips can be made to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and tipsters may be eligible fro a cash reward of up to $2,000.
