The Durham Regional Police Service would like to remind residents that as the temperatures rise the use of paintball guns and replica guns for recreational purposes will increase.
We would like to raise awareness to the dangers of these weapons. The use of paintball guns or replica firearms can cause very serious injuries and can result in either a criminal or by-law offence. These weapons are only to be used on private property and extreme caution must be used when operating them.
