  Can You Identify This Male?

Investigators have released security video of a recent break in at the Uxbridge Beer Store in hopes the public will help identify the two suspects. The video is available on our website under Media Release.

On Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 at approximately 1:30 a.m., two suspects smashed their way through the glass front door of the Beer Store located on Main Street North in Uxbridge. They used shovels to break the glass, then entered and removed nine boxes of Rickard’s “Red and White” beer.

Officers from 15 Division received the alarm call and attended the area. A perimeter was set up and a K-9 Unit responded, but no arrests were made.

Suspect #1 is described as male, 16-19 years old, with his face covered, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, dark-coloured sweatpants and white running shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as male, 16-19 years old, with his face covered, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark-coloured sweatpants with a double white stripe down the outside leg, a black toque and dark-coloured running shoes.

A silver vehicle was seen leaving the parking lot.

Anyone with information about this ongoing investigation is urged to contact D/Cst. Bird of the 15 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2674. Anonymous tips can be made to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
