Members of the community are invited to discuss safety issues as Crime Prevention Week gets underway from Nov. 2 to 5.
DRPS has set up several display booths providing information on home security, Road Watch, fingerprinting your children, fraud, personal safety and Neighbourhood Watch.
Officers and police volunteers will be available to answer your questions and residents are encouraged to come by and discuss any concerns you may have and to pick up some informational brochures. Police will have the displays available at the Oshawa Centre from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
For more information on Crime Prevention Week, contact Cst. Paul Hawrychuk of Community Services at 905-579-1520 ext. 1775.
