Jan 05, 2011 11:34 ET

The Durham Regional Police Service is currently looking for members of the public who wish to take part in a feedback session to gain a greater perspective into issues of diversity as they relate to the Durham Regional Police Service.

The Service is updating its Diversity Strategic Plan and is looking for input, ideas and suggestions as it continues to reach out to our community's growing multicultural population.

The 90-minute session will be hosted by an independant consultant and will take place on Jan. 11 at Regional Headquarters, 605 Rossland Rd. in Whitby, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Interested community members can contact the Diversity Coordinator Cst. Keith Richards to reserve your seat. Please contact Cst. Richards via email, krichards@drps.ca or by phone at 905-579-1520, ext.4412, to reserve your seat.
